Bloodriders 6.122 [free]

This app was developed in association with a number of Bloodrunner groups across the UK - the groups of volunteers who ride and drive for Bloodrunner,
Bloodbike, SERV and other NABB groups, delivering blood products between hospitals.
The Bloodriders app provides a number of features which assist the bloodrunner and improve co-ordination and communications between the bloodrunner and their
controller:
= Duty alarms remind the bloodrunner to report for duty, with controller details and message all set up, ready to send.
= Automatic generation of controller messages, saving time and effort and ensuring correct message format, including auto-timestamps, locations and distances
travelled.
= A simple one-click SendLocation feature sends the bloodrunner's location on a zoomable, scrollable map direct to the controller.
= The Tracker adds a further level of automation - it tracks the bloodrunner's progress and automatically sends their location directly to the controller if they stop
somewhere unexpected for a prolonged period and don't respond to alerts.
The Tracker also calculates the distance travelled and adds it to the Home message (for profiles that require it).
With SendLocation and the Tracker, accuracy depends on your device but is often as good as 2 metres.
= The app also sources real-time data on planned roadworks and unplanned traffic incidents (accidents, etc) - it personalises the data to the roads the bloodrunner uses in
the counties they operate in. At the start of each duty the app informs the bloodrunner of any issues on their roads. It then tracks the data and informs the bloodrunner of
any new developments for the duration of their duty.

The app is quick and simple to try out. There is also zero lock-in - users can switch between using the app and using their regular SMS app, even in the middle of a run. And
there is zero impact on the rest of the group - controllers work just the same whether the bloodrunner is using the app or not.
Each Bloodrunner group has a different way of working including different messaging formats and duty times. The app supports several UK Bloodrunner groups already and can
easily be extended to support new groups - let us know and we'll add a profile for your group, supporting your existing way of working.
